Dzvinia Orlowsky (born in Cambridge, Ohio) is a Ukrainian American poet, translator, editor, and teacher. She received her BA from Oberlin College and her MFA from the Warren Wilson College MFA Program for is author of six poetry collections including Convertible Night, Flurry of Stones (Carnegie Mellon University Press, ) for which she received a Sheila Motton Book Award, and Literary movement: Deep image, New Internationalism. The Ukrainian filmmaker Alexander Dovzhenko () is considered by many to have been one of the world's greatest film directors. Because of political problems, however, he was able to complete only seven feature-length films; these include his major works, "Zvenihora, Arsenal, " and "Earth."/5.
